Vassar Yesterday

Vanessa Johnson ’94 gives a “Birthday Shout-Out,” presumably to Matthew Vassar, from the WVKR studio on April 29, 1992. Vassar was born on April 29, 1792, a mere 200 years before Johnson’s birthday wishes. Members of the Vassar community honor Matthew Vassar and his birthday every year at Founder’s Day, which this year takes place on May 3. Alumnae/i are welcome back for the day of rides, games, music performances, food, and alumnae/i-versus-students athletics games.
