On May 6, Vassar alumnae/i, faculty, students, and staff gathered to celebrate the completion of the college's Integrated Science Commons, including the new Bridge for Laboratory Sciences. Spaces in Olmsted Hall, Sanders Physics, and the New England building, which recently underwent renovations, also were dedicated.

In the Bridge, there was a ribbon cutting by Elizabeth Gosnell Miller ’84 (left), whose mother, the late Georgia Potter Gosnell ’51, had made a gift in memory of Miller’s father, Thomas Gosnell, to create the sweeping corridor (known as “The Gosway”) in the Bridge. Additional ribbon cuttings took place in laboratories, conference rooms, and other areas of the
Integrated Science Commons. Donors Gina Bronkie Hammond ’70; Anne Mehringer ’69; Lawrence Lui ’92; Geraldine Bond Laybourne ’69, P’93; Pat Parton Rosenwald ’56, GP’14; and E. John Rosenwald Jr. GP’14 participated.
