The pub at alumnae house (above in 1953) has long been a place for the Vassar community and their guests to share a hot meal and stimulating conversation. Although the magazine rack is gone and smoking is no longer permitted in the restaurant, the Anne Cleveland '37 murals remain. This winter as Alumnae House is closed for renovation, the Pub, too, will be dark. But come visit the House in the spring to celebrate its 80th anniversary — and be sure to once again indulge in a Vassar Devil at the Pub.
