Back in 1956, the Josselyn House parlor was a great place for young Vassar women to socialize and play cards after a long day of classes. These days, the Joss Parlor serves much of the same purpose (though one will probably see a few men sitting around, too), but it looks quite different: this past summer, the parlor and lobby were renovated thanks to donations from two former residents of Joss, Martine Vilas Conway ’53 and Mary French Conway ’50.
